The Electrical Engineering Group and Mechanical Engineering Group have partnered with AUT School for Future Environments, and invite you to EMCONZ 2022, to be held at the AUT Conference Centre, Auckland, New Zealand on 15th September 2022.
This conference provides an opportunity for members across both membership and industry networks to showcase Innovation, future-focused thinking, technical challenges, design best-practice or showcase interesting projects within our field.
Non-members receive complimentary membership to October 2023 for the Electrical Engineering Group and/or the Mechanical Engineering Group if you desire.

THINKING, WHAT SHOULD I PRESENT ON?
We’re open to presentations on all facets of electrical and mechanical engineering so please don’t feel restricted on what to present on.
However, many of you have asked for some guidance and direction on themes that we think would be suitable to present on.
Some of the key themes from abstracts that we have already received are sustainability, recently completed projects, emerging technologies, renewable energy, Covid related technologies and issues, and legislative changes that affect engineering in New Zealand.
HOW LONG CAN YOU PRESENT FOR?
The presentation sessions available are:
20-minute Sessions – 15 minutes present 5 minutes for questions
30-minute Sessions – 20 minutes present ten minutes for questions
40-minute Sessions – 30 minutes present ten minutes for questions
Closing date for abstracts will be Monday, 30th May 2022, and we encourage you to get in early.
